The Yamaha KX88 keyboard is a monsterous MIDI controller. While it produces no sound on its own, it allows for quite an impressive amount of control, especially for a MIDI controller released so shortly after the introduction and implementation of MIDI in the music workspace. If you’re after a vintage MIDI controller to pair with your DX7, TX7, TX816, TX81Z, or any other MIDI compatible instruments, you certainly can’t go wrong with this piece of MIDI history.
Just be warned, it is heavy. Around 30kg/60lbs. Unless you’d be willing to pay the ridiculous shipping cost, collection only seems to make the most sense to me.
