Yamaha VSS-100 (Japan, 1987) - Voice Sampling Sampler Keyboard with manual! Big brother of the VSS-30!

We are selling this rare and vintage Yamaha VSS-100 sampling keyboard in very excellent condition!

This keyboard is the first brother to the famous Yamaha VSS-30! Has a sampler with built in microphone. Spread 4 samples across the keys!

Keyboard mapping allows you to build a pitched instrument out of any sample you record. Built in sounds are great sounding, 80’s lo-fi gold.

It operates on batteries (6 “C” Batteries) or with a 9 Volt AC adapter (batteries/adapter not included!). We recommend using it with batteries because all compatible power supplies are always a bit noisy.

Fully working and in very excellent cosmetical conditions! It comes with the original printed manual (a bit worn).

· 4 seconds sample time for one single sample or the ability to record 4 different 1 second samples and map them to 4 separate keyboard areas
· A five segment LED input meter
· Auto trigger or manual sampling start options
· Detachable microphone that pops out of the case
· Sample pitch up/down buttons

· 2 rhythms with the usual auto bass/chord stuff
· 21 preset sounds with vibrato and sustain effects
· Separate volume sliders for sample, accompaniment and preset sounds
· Line in and AUX out on phono sockets
· Headphone socket
