Released in 1987, the Yamaha WX7 is a minimalist wind MIDI control played in the same way as a saxophone.
The WX7 was delivered with two identical mouthpieces, one of which was intended as a spare mouthpiece or as a mouthpiece for a second player.
Lip pressure is measured by the WX7 using a lip sensor.
The WX7 also has a breathing sensor that can measure breathing pressure. The breath sensor recognized how hard you blow into the instrument. With the WX7, the volume, the timbre, the vibrato and the tremolo were influenced by the breathing pressure. How and how strongly the instrument reacted to the respiratory pressure had to be set using various parameters.
The condition is excellent, only the power supply is not included.
