About This Listing

Newly priced to move!!
1988 Made in Japan. Considered superior, this is the digital version of the Yamaha DMP7. A very rare digital relic these days, the DMP7D is an 8 chan powered mixer that provides 8 digital channels, each chalk-full of the same beautiful effects found in the SPX series. You can put symphonic chorus on each channel or a signature hall reverb.
Mostly in excellent condition as shown in photo, everything works as it should. It is missing a couple fader caps, that's about it. They can still be moved as normal, or even automated so you don't necessarily need to keep adjusting. As such I’m listing as “Very Good” even though I think it qualifies higher.
Overall I bought this because of that 80s digital sound that mixing everything through a unit like this provides. I use an equally old Yamaha AD converter to arrive with an authentically 80s sounding track that sounds so good. Hard to put into words, but if you're serious about the music, you go as authentically as possible, and this gets you there. It sounds amazing by even today's discerning standards.
