So this guy is for changing and effecting midi signals. It don’t do audio! Basically you’ve got one midi in and four outs so you could hook up 64 different synths and control them all with ONE KEYBOARD! or you could do kooky stuff like having a midi time delay between four synths so when you play a chord you get an echoed part but with different sounds playing! Crazy!
Anyway it’s pretty deep but there’s manuals for it online. It’s a great way to modify your boring old midi parts in new ways.
Condition is OK. There is some wear and scuffs but most of it should be hidden when it is screwed into your sexy 1987 rack with a bunch of DX7s or whatever floats your boat. The screen is dim but still readable at most angles. Fun fact: it has a bunch of presets built in from its original owner and some of them are Nu Shoes songs? So is it an ancient 1980s cover band? Or is it ACTUALLY THEM? Who knows! (And alternatively WHO CARES?)
