- All-digital signal processing Analog signals are converted to A/D at the console input and then processed digitally to the D/A stage of the stereo outputs. In addition to offering extraordinary versatility in signal processing, this ensures that maximum signal quality is maintained from input to output.
- 2 digital effects systems Each channel of the DMP11 has two effects loops that feed a powerful internal digital multi-effects processor. EFFECTS 1 provides access to 20 different effects, including reverb, gated reverb, delay, echo, flange, phasing, tremolo, symphonic, pitch change, and more. The individual parameters controlling each effect can also be programmed. EFFECT 2 powers an internal system of 5 effects. In addition, EFFECT 1 or EFFECT 2 can be assigned to a rear panel EFFECT SEND jack for external signal processing.
- Reliable multi-functional faders Like all other DMP11 parameters, the fader settings can be stored and recalled as needed. A single set of faders controls the channel level and the effects send level to both of the DMP11's effects systems. The stored fader settings can be displayed graphically on the LCD display panel.
- Versatile Digital EQ Each channel of the DMP11 has a two-band digital multi-purpose EQ. Each band allows control of frequency, gain plus or minus 15dB, Q adjustment over a wide range of 0.1 to 5.0, and selection of peaking, shelving or dynamic modes.
- Memory The DMP11 has 96 internal memories that can store all of the console's parameters. You can program and store 96 completely different configurations or "scenes", and recall them instantly when needed.
- MIDI control capability Different memories (scenes) can be selected simply by sending the appropriate MIDI program change number to the DMP11 via a standard MIDI cable. It can even be connected directly to a MIDI sequence recorder for real-time storage of mixing and effects operations. For really complicated operations involving many simultaneous fades, EQ changes, etc., each operation can be recorded individually to the sequence recorder. Then simply play back the sequence as you would with any other MIDI-compatible musical instrument and the entire mixing/signal processing process is recreated in great detail.
