"From NAD's top of the line Monitor Series with Original NAD Remote and instruction manual.
It is very flexible with dual power amplifier outputs, one with lower voltage, other with higher; separate output loop for external processors like EQ and front face button to engage or disengage signal; 2 tape monitor loops; CD; Video; and Phono with both moving magnet or moving coil options. This preamp sounds very nice and comes with the original manual and the original remote - a must for volume and all switching options. See review detailing its attributes.

The NAD 1700 delivers the same performance as tuner and preamp separates, but without the considerable cost of a second metal chassis, front panel, power supply circuit etc.
