Modified and overhauled. Great sounding Quad 405. The housing has signs of wear. The inside has been completely modified. Check out the Specs of the modification here:
Replacing the 2 buffer capacitors of 10,000uF/63V with better types (ESR) in the power supply.
Replacing all capacitors with better types.
Replacing OpAmp chips with better type in the input circuit.
Higher supply voltage for this opamp for more headroom.
Extra double power supply filter with this opamp for improvement of signal-to-noise ratio.
Cleaning of boards and components.

Modification power supply from 12 to 16 Volt for more headroom and from 220Vac to 230Vac.Replacement of the electrolytic capacitors (obsolete) on all boards with better types with a higher operating voltage.Replacement of the resistors with metal oxide in high gain circuits for less noise.Replacement of all transistors due to better type with less noise. Cleaning of PCBs and components.
