This is the v1 for 1980. It has been serviced, however I do not know to what extent. It’s had new binding post, iec plug, and rca’s installed. Still no power switch so you’ll want it on a powered outlet. Very cool running. Transformer does emit a small hum, not sure if just dc offset? But doesn’t effect sound. Sound is terrific as you expect vintage quad to be.
Been in my off pushing dyna x14’s, to which it paired very nicely. Not so much with my new speakers. On the warm side of neutral. Tons of power for such a little thing as those dynas aren’t efficient.
No oem packaging so local pickup encouraged. Will pack carefully and ship at buyers request.
