Harman Kardon A 300 1962 or 1963 re-capped integrated tube amp (6V6)

Also, the speaker outputs are for 8 ohm or 16 ohm. No 4 ohm output.

Nice and clean early 1960's A 300.

Purchased from Audiokarmer Camaroguy a couple of years ago. My amp journey has continued and I'm now on 300B mono blocks and the HK isn't being used.

I used this in a secondary system with a Teac 3340S reel to reel plugged in. I was using small Klipsch speakers and it sounded very nice. (That system is now using a VTA ST70).

I have plugged in a turntable and that sounded nice also.

When I got the amp I replaced the preamp tubes with new JJ and EH. The 6V6 power tubes were replaced (the original HK's were weak) with new in the box WWII era Ken Rads. I would guess the tubes probably have around 50 hours on them. The Ken Rads will probably outlast most of us.
All switches/pots have been recently cleaned/lubed (D5 or F5)

Not much else to add except you're going to want to drive efficient speaker with this amp as I think the two 6V6s per channel are putting out about 12 - 13 watts. I also always ran this on a bucker (just because I had one laying around) that puts out approx. 116 - 117 volt AC. I don't believe this is really necessary but I'm not a tech or an electrical engineer.

I have a nice 275# test double walled Uline box for it and I don't use plastic peanuts (I HATE those things!).
