Selling a very rare and nice Gryphon CDP1 Tabu CD Player with the original remote.
CD player is in great shape for its age, there are a few scuffs on the top left edge of the faceplate, as well as on the top right side. There is also a hairline scratch on the left side below the record and repeat button. They are hardly noticeable unless you are up close and in the right light.
CD player drawer opens and closes as it should, occasionally it takes a couple presses on the eject button to get it to open.
It sounds absolutely amazing, by far one of the best CD player I have ever heard and owned.
All buttons on the unit and remote function as they should.

The Gryphon Tabu CDP1 CD player sounds very musical and the soundstage extends far and wide with depth and tangible layers. The midrange is slightly sweet and tuneful. The bass is unrestrained and produces deep and fast response, giving the impression of endless power. Its dynamic and punchy characteristics are true to Gryphon's philosophy which make music lively and musical. Comparing with other cd players, the Tabu CDP1 has a considerably higher gain that other normal cd players which makes turn up the volume lesser than usual in the amplifier.
