I purchased this bass brand new directly from Elrick Basses / Rob Elrick for
$4,625 (plus shipping) near the end of 2021. The bass shipped from his shop in Chicago to my home in Reno, Nevada and has not left my house since it arrived. It has only been played by me, has never even been touched by anyone else, and is in absolute perfect condition.
I love this bass (it reminds me so much of my 1980's Kubicki Ex Factor due to the 32" scale) and it pains me to have to sell it, but unfortunately I had to switch back to 5 string bass and just spent $10k for two new 5 strings (including another brand new Elrick). Well, as much as I love this bass I cannot justify keeping it now and letting it sit in the case!
Elrick basses are one of the finest basses in the world that you can buy at any price. I am selling this bass for exactly
30 PERCENT OFF of the new selling price (plus shipping), which is a phenomenal deal for a "just like brand new" Elrick bass! If you have been searching for a high end 32" medium scale bass then you know how hard they are to find, and so now here is your chance!
I have owned hundreds of basses since I started playing in the early 80's and I can say without a doubt that this is an absolutely incredible playing and sounding bass! And don't just take my word for it either, go on YouTube and check out some Elrick bass videos to see how incredible they are if you have never played an Elrick!
Strings on the bass are new "medium scale" D'Addario XL Nickel 50-70-85-105, but I will also include an unopened set in the case pocket which are "medium scale" D'Addario XL Nickel 45-65-80-100 (if you prefer a lighter gauge). Also included inside the case pocket - tools, strap locks, microfiber cloth, and key for the lock on the hard case. Elrick custom hard case is included as well as the original shipping box the bass came in from the Elrick factory.
Please read all of my reviews and send me a message if you have any questions at all. Please note: the video that I am including in this listing is a good example of a 32" scale Elrick bass, however it has different model pickups and different fingerboard wood so the sound is slightly different than this bass. IMO this bass sounds more like a Jazz bass due to the narrower width pickups. Also, the Bubinga fingerboard adds a really full and warm, yet clear and bright tone with great midrange!
