Peavey Patriot Custom Bass Guitar USA 1987 HSC

Full disclosure: This bass had a pretty warped neck when I got it. I pulled the frets, leveled and radiused the board to 7.25".
Stock, they are 8" radius. Frets are huge Jescar 57110 nickel steel. Neck is arrow straight, and the truss works well. But this neck is finicky. Was very difficult to get it adjusted, and I had to use a .5 degree maple shim in the pocket to get the angle correct. I do not use micro tilt, especially on a bass, especially on one of these.
I found the sweet spot for relief, and the action is nice and low, with perfect intonation.
Made a new bone nut. Strings are 45-100's.
The painted head, rosewood board and black hardware designates the Patriot Custom model.
The rose board and super ferrite pickup gives it a nice throaty tone like a P bass that just got a B12 shot. These necks are thin and fast. Not real heavy. Will weigh it later. Electronics work like they should. Tip of the pickguard is chipped off. Seen worse. No missing parts. No signs of damage or abuse. Extremely red. Comes with a Peavey Teddy bear case.
The lining is gone, but I will put something in there for padding and protection.
