QUASIMIDI SIRIUS
Fantastic Voyager: Your intergalactic techno journey from the 90's awaits.
This is a drum machine with four parts, plus three polyphonic synthesizers and an additional vocoder all built into one solid-as-a-tank German space battle ready unit.
This little magical beast in particular was purchased in 1998 at a now defunct synth shop in New York City. Aside from a ding on the power cord connector sleeve (see picture) the synth looks and functions the same as it did on the day it was brought home.
I cannot express how much fun this synth / groovebox has been over the years, from lush digital pads to its sequencer and extensive arpeggiator functions... it is quite simply, blissful, and always a journey.
I don't have as much space to hold onto it these days, but it really should be in a place among many other synths, where it can get the proper attention it deserves.
They don't make them like this anymore...
they don't make them at all, for that matter. It is sonic history, priced to sell to a good home or collection.
