The QX-1 digital sequence recorder has a no-nonsense approach, with a computer-like keyboard and eight MIDI outputs that send data to multiple synthesizers with no time lag. When connected to the QX-1 (or any Midi keyboard), the TX816 system can create ensembles by functioning as a multi-tone generator. As it is, it's equivalent to 8 DX7’s in a rack mount unit. The TX816 is currently loaded with the original Factory sounds and functions. Both items recently serviced, with the TX816 gaining 8 new batteries, and the QX1 disk drive mechanism brought back to “better than new”. Includes 25 discs, manuals, 8 midi cables and XLR cables.
