Hi there, up for sale is a nice Kawai SX-210 Analog Synthesizer! It is fully functional and has been recently service, and sounds fantastic. Its an 8-Voice Programable Polyphonic Synthesizer. It can do it all, super lush, deep strings, sweeps, filters, effects, organs. This rare vintage beauty was made in 1983.
I bring you a very rare and highly underrated synthesizer with so many features under the hood. My favorite thing that this beast can do is it's split and layer. Split is pretty standard, you can have one preset on the lower half of the keyboard and different preset on the top half. Then you can press the layer button and both presets are stacked together when you play any of the keys for a REALLY massive juicy sound.
Its in really nice condition! All of the artwork is there and looks great. It has some wear here and there but it looks great. There is ware on the wood sides but are still nice. No scratchy pots for they have been cleaned. All new tact switches have been installed so you don't have to press buttons super hard and they work EVERY time. The encoder knob has been opened up and thoroughly cleaned. The dreaded Ni-Cad battery was removed and replaced with a new coin cell battery and a socket (with diode) so if the battery ever goes bad, just pop out the old one and put in the new one. Old, dying, and noisy filter caps replaced in the power section.
If you have been looking for one of these then this one is the one to get. Fully serviced and gig ready. I know the new owner of this baby will be very happy! Feel free to ask any questions.
