This listing is for a Yamaha MU50 sound module from the mid-90s. When working, this module plugs into a MIDI keyboard or PC workstation, and makes sound in response to MIDI data.
Unfortunately, this unit powers on only intermittently. When it powers on, the screen indicates that the internal battery is low. Likely there is a problem with the power switch and battery, and possibly other issues I haven't discovered yet. The screen seems to be working OK, but the unit does not power on long enough for me to take a picture.
Listing includes the Yamaha MU50 unit, as well as original Japanese manual, power supply, IBM PC MIDI cable, and an audio cable (pictured).
Please do not buy this item unless you are able to make repairs.
