Kurzweil K250 Vintage Digital Synthesizer Workstation 🎹 Kenny Rogers Toured • Serviced • Warranty
This incredible iconic synthesizer was used on tour with late Country Music Hall of Famer KENNY ROGERS. It has a serious pedigree and history. It comes with mementos and paperwork from the road, etc. We will give a Certificate of Authenticity with the purchase.
This unit is in great shape cosmetically for it's age. It still looks incredibly beautiful and futuristic. See the photos. It's been fully tested and works great. It has a later revision of firmware, and all four Sound Blocks: the "A" Resident Expansion, the Rock Block, the Orchestral Block and the Horn Block. (A, B, C & D) The display is the newer, brighter one and still looks great and is easily read. Owner’s manuals, power supply and original stand are included.
This is a 12 voice digital sampling synthesizer, with the Sound Modeling Program installed. In addition, the K250 has a 12 track built-in sequencer - ostensibly making it the world's first workstation synth.
The K250 was one of the most notable synthesizers to come from the 1980s, with a price tag of over $20,000 new. It was state of the art in 1984. Some of the most prolific users were: Keith Emerson, Stevie Wonder (co-creator), Rick Wright, Patrick Moraz, Paul Shaffer, Michael Kamen, Vangelis, Kitaro, Kenny Rogers and John Carpenter.
I still own a K250RMX, and still have some parts left for this monster. I will offer my full support to the buyer - especially if you are local. Buy with confidence.
Due to the weight and size, LOCAL PICK UP ONLY - unless you make all arrangements for freight.
