This drive is pre-configured properly so that you can simply plug it in and use it as you'd expect. It comes with a paid lifetime license of the HxC software preinstalled, which has been perfected and tested extensively with musical instruments for many years, whereas the free Flashfloppy has many imperfections and are being sold for many devices never formally tested. A 4GB USB drive will be included fully preconfigured, and I always configure any disks such as boot disks or special sample disks configured for auto-load at boot, just send me a message. Also included will be any specific mounting hardware necessary for properly mounting, if the original drive mounting screws don't fit.
