1960 Ecco-Fonic Tube Tape Delay Unit Owned by Hank Garland

1960 Ecco-Fonic Tube Tape Echo Model 109 - Serial Number #1357. Hank helped pioneer the use of tube tape echo, both on stage and in the studio. Hank’s Ecco-Fonic was often seen in studio photos of the era, sitting on a table right next to him and is heard most notably on Patsy Cline’s #1 hit “I Fall to Pieces”. Legend has it Hank’s finally sessions are still stored on the magnetic tape inside. The model 109 had the longest delay of tape echo units offered at the time. Signed by Hank (The "Hank" signature on the top was from when he first obtained the unit and would leave it overnight in the studio. The full name signature on the side dates to the late 90's). Condition: The unit is in pristine condition and comes with it's original grey connection cables. The unit is currently untested and was last used by Hank in 1961. There are no missing parts, so the unit could absolutely be made to function properly if desired (often the stumbling block to repairing these units is missing parts).
