About This Listing

GUO GRENADITTE PICCOLO. LIGHTWEIGHT, PLAYS GREAT, SOUND OF WOOD!

Grenaditte is an innovative new material invented by Geoffrey Guo. The unique properties give it a density similar in character to that of Grenadilla wood hence, the name is derived from that wood. When used for the construction of an instrument Grenaditte also mimics the acoustic properties of an instrument made of Grenadilla wood. The timbre has a warm dark quality very similar to wooden instruments.

The Grenaditte piccolo is impervious to temperature changes and gives a consistency in sound quality and intonation throughout its entire register. This makes it the perfect instrument for professionals who are required to perform both outdoors and indoors. At a fraction of the cost of many higher-level wooden piccolos it also will not crack under extreme temperature changes as do piccolos made of wood. Its timber is quite similar to that of a piccolo made of Grenadilla.

The Grenaditte Piccolo is a professional-level, high-quality choice for the discerning piccolo players.
