Gibson USA 2017 SG Fusion (Custom Special) Cherry Nitro. Great guitar, very unique take on the moderately priced SG model. This guitar has been modded to yield a more unique tonal palate. Pickups: GFS Surf 90 (Humbucker sized P-90) in the neck position. GFS Dream 90 in the bridge position. GFS Locking tuners, cavities shielded (by me), dome knobs, Dunlop strap locks have been installed. All other work was done by a pro certified luthier here in Wilmington. This guitar sounds amazing, a nice jangle & almost gretschy in the middle position, the neck position reminds me of an old small guard SG Special. The bridge has a nice tight all out rock vibe with some dirt. Finish is factory Gibson nitro lacquer (not the greatest on the lower priced Gibbys). Fresh Set up (D'Addario Nickel XL10's) Gig ready.
