dpFX Pedals - ALASTOR overdrive / distortion (dual gain)

This is the ALASTOR Guitar Overdrive/Distortion

Description and specs:
ALASTOR uses 3 mosfet stages to simulate TUBE-amp overdrive while preserving the original tone of the guitar.  Its gain can vary from low, mild overdrive up-to high-gain, distortion levels. It is very responsive to the dynamics of your pick attack and the gain is easily adjustable even through your guitar volume pot.
It also features an active EQ filter with BASS and TREBLE knobs giving you a wide range of sound colors, suitable for a lot of different music genres, from classic garage rock to heavy doom and stoner and even thrash metal. Increasing the TREBLE results in more crunchy, bright sound.
The DISTORTION knob is activated separately through a toggle switch.

- DRIVE: adjust the amount of overdrive. In the lowest positions it offers more clean sound with less bass. As it is turned clockwise it offers more fat overdrive with a nice tube-amp character with a very pleasant harmonic spectrum.
- TOGGLE switch: Engage or turn-off the extra Distortion control knob.
- DISTORTION:  "Alastor" was a demon and his ways were pretty twisted, strange and evil So is this knob. To push your overdrive up-to high-gain distortion levels you have to turn this knob counter-clockwise.
- BASS: Increasing the BASS offers you more fat sound, up-to ultra-fat-bass levels.
- TREBLE: Increasing the TREBLE results in more crunchy, bright sound. Decreasing it results in a more dark sound.
