Jackson USA Custom Shop PC1 that was hand painted & signed by Phil Collen of Def Leppard who then played this exact guitar on the 2011 Mirror Ball Tour! This was an extremely limited run hand-painted by Phil to celebrate Jackson Guitars' 30th Anniversary! This guitar was also made famous on the global hit TV show Pawn Stars where an unplayed example he practiced painting on for this run was valued at $12,000 before Phil then came on the show to make this guitar legendary. This Pawn Stars episode has over 6 Million views on YouTube where Phil makes an appearance along with Def Leppard's singer Joe Elliot and explains how he painted these! There is another video on Jackson's YouTube channel showing Phil paint this guitar. Phil states on his Instagram that it took nearly a year to paint where he would visit the Jackson paint shop daily and splash another color each day! It is an amazing piece of modern art considering the value of the medium (a custom shop Jackson guitar) and that the artist is color-blind! This comes with strings played on stage during the tour and Phil's set-list for the 29 October 2011 show in Newcastle, Australia where you can see this guitar confirmed played on the tour. You can see a video of this guitar on stage playing Rock of Ages as shown on the set-list at this show if you go to YouTube and search "Def Leppard Newcastle 20 oct 2011, Rock of Ages GREAT SOUND!"

This is functional fine art with exceptional provenance of the highest calibre. Take the value of the guitar alone, then add the fact that is was transformed into a modern art painting by a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame guitarist with over 100 million records sold...and one of only 5 rock bands in history with 2 records achieving more than 10 million sales in America.....and then add the factor that this artist performed live on tour with this very guitar...the result is tremendous value that cannot be duplicated. Is it worth as much as a new Rolex Daytona watch? Certainly. Which would you rather have?
